ModMed | "A Day in the Life" Brand Anthem Video
This was an exciting, high-profile project and a fantastic collaboration between the internal creative team at ModMed and the talented folks at Bonfire Labs. The objective was to create a cinematic "Day in the Life" brand anthem, following both a doctor and a patient to tell a human-centric story about how ModMed's AI-powered platform transforms the healthcare experience.
Bonfire Labs handled the live-action production, while my role was to design and animate all motion graphics. I was responsible for bringing the product to life on screen, creating every user interface and data visualization that appears on the phones, tablets, and desktops throughout the narrative.
My process was deeply collaborative, working in lockstep with both the internal ModMed product teams and the Bonfire Labs creative team. I began by designing the UI and graphic elements in Figma, ensuring they were not only brand-aligned and futuristic but also accurately represented the product's functionality within the story.
I then moved to After Effects for animation and compositing. A significant part of the task involved motion tracking the graphics onto the screens in the live-action footage, ensuring a seamless and believable integration. I focused on creating subtle, sophisticated animations for the UI elements that felt both intuitive and intelligent, visually reinforcing the platform's AI capabilities without distracting from the human story.
