NutraCap | Black Magic - "New Look" Rebrand Announcement
To announce the brand-wide packaging redesign for Black Magic's line of protein powders, I was tasked with creating a dynamic motion graphics piece for their social media channels. The key challenge was to generate excitement for the "New Look" while reassuring loyal customers that the product's taste and potent formula remained unchanged. The video needed to be energetic, bold, and quickly showcase the entire product line in its new branding.
The process began with creating updated, photorealistic 3D models of the newly designed product packaging in Blender. The majority of the work was then executed in After Effects, where I designed and animated the complex kinetic typography sequences, choreographing them to the high-energy music track. I created a distinct visual system for the rapid-fire flavor montage and edited the entire piece, focusing on a hard-hitting, rhythmic pace to match the brand's edgy aesthetic.
For the annual Halloween product launch for NutraCap's Black Magic brand, I was tasked with creating a series of high-impact teaser videos for social media. The campaign, themed "Voodoo," involved creating a unique and spooky atmosphere for three different limited-edition products (BZRK, Ecto Plasm, and Protein). Each video was designed to build hype and anticipation by setting a distinct mood—from a haunted hallway to a graveyard at midnight—while revealing the new product and its special-edition flavor.
